Title: Speed channel being discontinued

As of April 1, 2015, Speed will be removed from the Shaw Direct line up of channels as it is being discontinued. Fans of motorsports can continue to enjoy racing news and programming on channels like Sportsnet and TSN.

For fans looking for more, Shaw Direct is pleased to announce that beIN Sports will be available as of January 29 with live sporting events, including motor sports with a free preview until March 15.  As well, the all new Discovery Velocity (formerly Discovery World HD) features automotive and adventure-oriented programming.
