Title: Shaw makes a comeback in Hamilton with Shaw Direct Hamilton

Two years after selling its Hamilton mountain cable system to Rogers, Shaw is making a comeback in the Hamilton Ontario market with Shaw Direct Hamilton (http://www.shawdirecthamilton.ca).  In collaboration with SkyChoice Communications (http://www.skychoice.ca), Hamilton area residents now have better value when it comes to Television, Internet and Home Phone services.

As the television service being offered now uses satellite instead of cable, 100% of the TV channels offered are in digital quality.  Over 215 channels are now available in HD with the introduction of the new Anik G1 satellite along with MPEG 4 technology.  Thanks to nationwide satellite coverage, all of Hamilton and beyond is now able to get service instead of only the Hamilton mountain area.  A brand new interactive programming guide designed for today's HDTV's was also added in order to make it easier to find the programs or channels that you are looking for.
