Hope this is a good sign of things to come. Al Kass which is an Arabic sports channels from the UAE has now switched their signal from SD to HD on 97w Ku-band using the same transponder as before, 12084 V 22000. They are using a bitrate of approximately 9 Mbps on MPEG4 so the picture looks pretty good considering that it originates from overseas.
The new channel now scans in as AL KASS HD
